RANSLEY BARN
Holiday Cottages

ABOUT RANSLEY BARN
Situated in the heart of the Kentish countryside, the converted farm buildings now provide two peaceful cottages overlooking a tranquil natural pond. Renovated to the highest standard in 2017, the cottages boast contemporary fittings and décor while retaining the charm and nostalgia of the preserved original features.
Each cottage sleeps two adults. One infant under six month can be accommodated, but otherwise children cannot be accepted, due to limited space and the presence of an unfenced pond .

With access to a private 36ft heated swimming pool and proximate to several walking paths, quaint English pubs, and a 10th century church whose parish is recorded in the Domesday book, the cottages cater for visitors looking for both simple relaxation and gentle exploration.
ABOUT THE HOSTS
After over 65 collective years working in the public sector, living in nearby Tunbridge Wells, and with their three children now living happily away from home, Kate and Peter moved to Ransley Barn in 2016.

After settling into the Barn and getting familiar with the local area they decided to undertake the renovation of Heron and Mallard, the two onsite cottages. The project was completed in a little under a year, opening the newly refreshed cottages in the beautiful Kent countryside to visitors in the summer of 2017.
Today they divide their time between the golf course, trips abroad and the converted barn house they now call home, enjoying visits from family and friends.

GUEST REVIEWS

Peter and Kate are wonderful hosts.
The conversion of the barn is very tastefully done. The kitchen had everything we needed (and much more).
Being able to use the pool was fantastic during the late summer heatwave.
Tenderden, with some independent shops and cafés, is only 10 minutes away.
